Clackamas Fire District #1 has selected Lt. Brandon Paxton as its next Public Information Officer. Paxton is expected to serve in this position for the next five years, effective July 1, 2018.

Paxton will be managing public affairs by sharing important fire and life safety information with the community and members of the media in emergent and non-emergent situations. PIO Paxton looks forward to continuing to provide up-to-date and relevant information to keep you and your family safe.

He comes to this position with over 15 years of fire and emergency medical services experience, both as a volunteer firefighter and career firefighter/paramedic. Paxton has served in several roles with Clackamas Fire to include being a member of our swift water rescue team, public information officer, as an apparatus operator and most recently a company officer at our South End Fire Station 17 in Oregon City.

Paxton replaces Public Information Officer/Lt. Steve Hoffeditz, who completed his three year commitment in this role and after 29 years of fire service has retired.
