Media Advisory: Week Without Driving SE First Street Walk And Talk With Regional Policymakers - 09/28/26
Vancouver, Wash. - The City of Vancouver in partnership with Community in Motion will host the SE First Street Community Walk and Talk during the Week Without Driving, an annual campaign raising awareness of nondriver experiences within our community. The event will showcase the City’s recent capital investment in the area, highlighting how people are using the new infrastructure, including small mobility users and the disability community. Elected officials and policymakers will have a boots-on-the-ground first-hand experience of the Week Without Driving taking place Oct. 1-8.
This 1.5-mile walk will focus on new street elements like sidewalks, bicycle and small mobility lanes, crossings, and lighting on SE First Street.

The event will be from 10-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3
The walk will begin and end at HP Vancouver, located at 320 NE 184th Street, Vancouver, WA 98684
