A summer tradition is back for 2023 as the First Friday Art Walk returns to historic downtown Troutdale on June 2 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Our galleries will showcase local artists and many retailers and restaurants will expand into the street. We will also host dozens of local artisans, live music, a kid zone, and great food & drink options.
The First Friday of each month has long been a cornerstone of Troutdale’s art community. For two decades, the First Friday Art Walk has brought people together to experience what Troutdale has to offer. The event runs throughout the year inside Troutdale's galleries, businesses, and restaurants.
During the summer months, the First Friday Art Walk expands into the street with dozens of vendors, sidewalk dining, live music at Mayors Square, a Kid Zone, and much more! These expanded First Friday experiences continue on July 7, August 4, and September 1. We invite you to come for the art and stay for the live music, food, kids’ activities, and the chance to meet up with friends, neighbors, and visitors to our City.
East Historic Columbia River Highway will close to vehicular traffic between Buxton Road and Kibling Street at 3:00 p.m. to give vendors and businesses the opportunity to set up. Approximately one hour after the event ends, the road will reopen to traffic and many of our restaurants will continue operating into the evening.
You can find parking on the side streets as well as in the lots on Kendall Avenue, Kibling Street, above Mayors Square, and behind the north side of Historic Columbia River Highway. You can also take advantage of free shuttle service at one of the overflow parking lots at Troutdale Art Center, Glenn Otto Park, and Harvest Christian Church.
