Road Closure And Detour Alert: Broadway St NE To Undergo Slurry Seal Treatment On September 5 -08/31/23

Salem, Ore. —Broadway St. NE, from Pine St. NE to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, will be closed for temporary road maintenance on September 5, 2023, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The closure is necessary to perform a slurry seal pavement treatment on the roadway.

Road Closure Details:

  • Date: September 5, 2023
  • Time: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Location: Broadway St. NE, between Pine St. NE and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway

Message boards and marked detours will be in place to direct traffic around the construction. Please use extra caution and anticipate some delays.  

Detour Routes:

  • Northbound: Liberty St. NE, Cherry Ave NE
  • Southbound: Cherry Ave NE, Commercial St. NE
