Richland Seeks Parks and Recreation Commissioner - 12/05/17

The Richland City Council is accepting applications from citizens interested in serving on its Parks and Recreation Commission. This volunteer position must resident of Richland.

Duties include serving as an advisor to the Richland City Council in order to promote parks, trails, open space and recreation for the City. Commissioners provide recommendations to the Council and, as appropriate, to other boards and commissions on matters related to the
provision of parks and recreation facilities and services that promote healthy
lifestyles and contribute to the quality of life for all citizens.

The Parks and Recreation Commission meets the second Thursday at 7:00 p.m. The term of appointment is until March 31, 2018. Details are available on the city's website at www.ci.richland.wa.us/bcc or by calling the city at 942-7388. The application deadline is December 14, 2017.
