City Offers New Mobile App To Pay For Parking Downtown -04/11/22

The City of Oregon City is adding a mobile friendly option, HotSpot, to pay for parking in Downtown Oregon City. HotSpot signs are installed, and mobile payments are now being accepted. The option to pay by card and coin will remain available at meters and kiosks.  

As technology continues to change and visitors carry less coins for cash parking, the need for a mobile payment option arose. City staff implemented the mobile pay option where visitors can scan a QR code or download the HotSpot Mobile App to help with their parking needs.

HotSpot gives more control and convenience when parking by notifying visitors when their meter is close to expiring, giving the option to add more time, up to the maximum, for the space, and the ability to store vehicle and payment information in the app to save time. 

The City’s Code Enforcement Division has been working closely with Downtown businesses and the Downtown Oregon City Association to add this option for those choosing to park Downtown.
