City Manager Dave Campbell has determined that the severe weather event designated on December 4 has concluded. The weather forecast now indicates that low overnight temperatures in Longview will be consistently above freezing (32 degrees) for the next few days.

One emergency shelter was issued a temporary use permit to operate during this event -- for the Love Overwhelming building at 618 14th Avenue -- and pursuant to LMC 7.30, they may continue to provide emergency shelter services for up to but not beyond two more days.
