News Release
Traffic Advisory: Temporary Traffic Changes on Country Club Road Starting Tomorrow (Jan. 10) - 01/09/19

The City of Lake Oswego advises the traveling public that utility and street improvements on Country Club Road between 10th Street and Six Corners (intersection of Iron Mountain Boulevard/C Avenue/Bayberry Road) will create significant traffic changes starting Thursday, January 10 at 9 a.m., and continuing through early summer - during all hours and all days.

To maintain traffic through the heavily-traveled corridor, Country Club Road will be reduced to two lanes of traffic – one travel lane in each direction – and traffic will be shifted. Stop signs will also be temporarily removed for east and westbound traffic on Country Club Road and A Avenue (at Six Corners and 10th Street). 10th Street, C Avenue and the northbound leg of Iron Mountain Boulevard will be closed at Country Club Road and A Avenue, and traffic speed will be reduced to 25 mph.

These temporary traffic changes will allow crews to safely and efficiently conduct the project to replace aging utilities and improve the pavement condition in this corridor.

These traffic adjustments are subject to change, but will be restored to the previous configuration after construction is complete this summer.

The traveling public is advised to expect significant delays while this work is underway. We ask the public to travel cautiously, observe all lane closures, traffic changes, directions by reader boards and flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible.
