Hillsboro's 2021 State Of The City --- Available Now To Watch -03/15/21

The City of Hillsboro's 2021 State of the City is now available for viewing. Hillsboro Mayor Steve Callaway hosts the annual community update, which in 2021 is unlike any State of the City before due to COVID-19.

Rather than gather in person, Mayor Callaway welcomes a total of 37 community member panelists -- including City Councilors, community partners, and City staff -- in a series of six videos discussing Hillsboro's top priorities and projects:

  • Leadership & Listening: Community Engagement & Outreach
  • Affordable Housing & Homelessness
  • Public Safety: First Responders
  • Livability: Parks & Recreation and Libraries
  • Essential Services, Infrastructure & Sustainability
  • Economic Development & Business Support

The theme for Hillsboro's 2021 State of the City is "Moving Forward Together." And the entire series released Monday, March 15, can be watched at Hillsboro-Oregon.gov/StateoftheCity

“As precious as your time is, we hope these brief videos will serve you as a resource to stay updated on important community issues, whenever it works for you. They will serve not only as a recap of 2020, but also as a look ahead in 2021 and beyond. We look forward to having you join us, virtually.” said Mayor Callaway.
