Hillsboro Civic Center Will Reopen; SHARC, HPL To Go Will Remain Closed Due to Unhealthy Air -- Update for Wednesday, September 16 (Photo) - 09/15/20

The City of Hillsboro's buildings and facilities will reopen to the public under COVID-19 operational precautions on Wednesday, September 16.

To protect the health of community members, including City staff, outdoor services such as HPL To Go at Brookwood and Shute Park libraries will remain closed on Wednesday.

Unhealthy air quality levels remain in the region. City leaders will reassess the situation on a daily basis. If conditions worsen, City facilities may close.

Fire & Rescue, Police, Water, Public Works, and other essential City services will continue. The City’s website can provide assistance, 24 hours a day.

Hillsboro Civic Center: Open

The Civic Center will be open under COVID-19 operational precautions, with the second and third floors closed to the public. The first, fourth, and fifth floors will be open for Utility Bililng, Municipal Court, and Community Development services. These services can still be accessed online or by phone.

HPL To Go: Closed

HPL To Go at Brookwood Library and Shute Park Library will be closed. Books will be held and no fines will be assessed. Phones will not be answered.

SHARC: Closed

Shute Park Aquatic & Recreation Center will be closed. Phones will not be answered.
