SW Eaton Boulevard, between South Parkway and SW 9th Street, will be closed to thru traffic beginning Monday, October 26 for a period of two-weeks.  A private contractor will be installing a sewer line across the roadway just east of the Maple Grove school, and has met all City requirements for the temporary closure and work within the public right-of-way.  Access to local traffic will remain open.

Thru westbound traffic will be detoured north onto S. Parkway then west onto Scotton Way.  Thru eastbound traffic will use SR-503 or SW 9th Avenue north then east onto Scotton Way.  Detour signage will be placed to assist travel.

Motorists should be aware of posted speed limits of 25mph on Scotton Way and SW 9th Avenue, and 30mph on S. Parkway.  Do not exceed the speed limit and drive attentively with safety in mind.
