Halloween Fright Night in Battle Ground
Halloween Fright Night in Battle Ground
Battle Ground's Halloween Fright Night Returns October 31 (Photo) - 10/10/19

The spooktacular Annual Halloween Fright Night event returns to the Battle Ground Community Center this Halloween, October 31st from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.  The Community Center is located at 912 East Main Street in Battle Ground’s Old Town district.

The free event features family-friendly games, prizes, and plenty of treats!   In addition to the popular Halloween themed carnival games (geared toward kids aged 3 to 10) are two new Fright Night activities;  the Haunted Hollow, a frighteningly fun experience for kids aged 10-plus produced by the Battle Ground High School Drama Club Boosters, and Halloween Story Time - a friendly, barely-scary story time for kids of all ages.

Halloween Fright Night is presented by the Battle Ground Parks & Recreation Department with the support of many frightfully fantastic volunteers.  This year, local businesses and organizations are invited to participate by facilitating an activity or station, provide candy or prizes and engage with the event participants.  Attendance at Fright Night topped 1,200 last year.  In addition to providing much needed volunteer support, businesses and organizations will be recognized for their support during the event.  For more information about this volunteer opportunity, contact Recreation & Facility Supervisor Mattie Buckmiller at 360-342-5385 or by email at mattie.buckmiller@cityofbg.org.
