Battle Ground PD Investigating Stabbing - 01/18/18

Update:
Detectives have completed the investigation.
Suspect Colin Dixon, 21, resident of 1205 N. Parkway, Battle Ground was booked into Clark County Jail on two counts of Assault 1 Domestic Violence in the stabbing of his father, Christian Dixon, and his sister, a juvenile. He is also charged with one count of Assault II Domestic Violence for assaulting his mother, Shawna Dixon, with a knife.
All 3 victims were transported to hospitals early this morning.

Battle Ground, WA - At 0047 hours this morning, Battle Ground Police Officers responded to a reported stabbing at a residence located in the 1200 block of N. Parkway Ave. Upon arrival, officers were told by a resident family member (a minor) that her father had been stabbed by her brother. When officers entered the home they found 42-year old Christian Dixon with stab wounds -- he was transported to the hospital. Officers detained the suspect, 21 year-old Colin Dixon, the victim's son, who remains in custody.

No other information is available at this time. Detectives are conducting a full investigation.
