Cherriots Brings Back Bus-tache November To Raise Cancer Awareness (Photo) - 11/02/26
SALEM, OR – (November 2, 2026) — Coming together as a community, starting meaningful conversations, and showing support, one mustache at a time. This November, Cherriots is partnering with No Shave November to bring back Bus-tache, a monthlong effort to raise cancer awareness and show support for people and families affected by cancer.
Whether your mustache is real, drawn on, or part of a creative costume, it can help start a meaningful conversation. Throughout November, Cherriots will share fun ways to get involved, with cancer awareness information and helpful resources, giving community members opportunities to learn, connect, and support one another.
“Bus-tache November is about more than mustaches. It’s about showing up for one another,” said Ian Davidson, vice president of the Cherriots Board of Directors. “Cancer touches so many lives in our community, and no one should have to face it alone. We invite our riders and neighbors to join the fun, start a conversation, and help us turn awareness into a shared commitment to caring for one another.”
Join the fun and help spread awareness
Taking part is simple, and everyone is welcome:
- Pick your ’stache. Grow one, draw one, or get creative with a pretend mustache.
- Strike a pose. Snap a mustache selfie while riding Cherriots or posing safely near a Cherriots bus.
- Share your support. Post your photo, tag @Cherriots on social media, and use #BustacheNovember. Invite friends and family to join you.
- Stay connected. Follow @Cherriots throughout the month for cancer awareness information. Share what you learn to help reach others in the community.
