MEDIA INVITATION: CCC Day in Portland: 40 Years of Hope and Healing - 09/09/19

Central City Concern will celebrate its 40th anniversary, honor the thousands of clients they’ve helped over the past four decades and thank the Portland community for their support. The celebration will include live music, VooDoo doughnuts and Central City Coffee.

What: Public celebration of Central City Concern’s 40th Anniversary

When: 3-5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019. A short spoken program begins at 3:30 p.m.

Where: North Park Blocks between NW Davis and Everett Streets.

Who:

  • Rachel Solotaroff, M.D., CCC president & CEO
  • Eric C. Hunter, President & CEO, CareOregon
  • Vi Swiftcloud, CCC former client and current employee
  • Mayor Ted Wheeler will read a proclamation

Live music by Koonce * Ross * Fraser, former members of Quarterflash, Seafood Mama, and Johnny and the Distractions.
