Single Shot Hits Camas Business -08/03/23

At about 5pm on August 2nd, 2023 Camas Police were dispatched to MDI Services (1910 SE 8th Avenue) for a report of a shot being fired at their business.

Officers arrived and found that a bullet had struck the top of the building, near the roofline.  It is believed that the suspect was targeting a pro-Ukraine sign located between the building and SR-14. No one was injured and there was no significant damage to the building or its contents.  It was determined that an unknown suspect fired a single shot from a truck that was traveling westbound on SR14.

The Washington State Patrol is assisting in the ongoing investigation.
