Fire Damages Washougal Home in Early Morning Response (Photo) - 12/13/18

At approximately 5:30 am on December 13, Camas-Washougal Fire Department personnel were dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 4000 block of C Street in Washougal.  On arrival crews found an active fire burning in an attached garage of a home.  Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control.  There was significant smoke and fire damage to the contents of the garage and smoke damage to the rest of the structure.  The occupants were home when the fire started but were able to evacuate without injuries.  Assisting CWFD on the fire were units from East County Fire and Rescue.  

The fire investigation is being conducted CWFD Fire Marshal Ron Schumacher.  At this time no cause has been determined.
