The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to identify the suspect driver of a vehicle involved in two random pepper-sprayings of two women walking near the Trolley Trail on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2020, an occupant in the suspect vehicle (photos attached) pepper-sprayed two different women walking in the area of the Trolley Trail near SE Arista Drive and SE Rupert Drive, in two separate attacks.

These are believed to be random attacks, and a single white-male driver is believed to be the suspect in both of these attacks.

The victims in each incident were women walking along the road -- one 63 and one 37 years old.

Both of these pepper-spray attacks occurred just after 1 p.m. In both incidents, the suspect driver sprayed each victim in the face with what is believed to be pepper-spray as he drove past.

Two photos of the suspect vehicle taken from residential surveillance footage are attached.

The suspect vehicle appears to be a brown or rust-colored 1990s Isuzu Rodeo or Nissan Pathfinder SUV. The front driver’s-side fender may be a darker color than the rest of the vehicle. It appeared to have an evergreen Oregon front license plate.

The suspect is described as a white male.
