On Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies and detectives began a missing-person investigation into the disappearance of Joe Armstrong.

Mr. Armstrong’s family reported him missing on Nov. 21. It is unusual for him to go this long without contacting family; they are deeply concerned and asking for the public's help to locate him. He is considered a missing endangered adult.

Investigators have learned Mr. Armstrong was last seen in Estacada at about 8:35 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at a local business.

Armstrong has a medical condition that requires medication and has potentially missed multiple doses, which could be life-threatening. He is known to frequent the Estacada area. He is also known to ride TriMet and has friends in Portland.

Joseph Armstrong is 36 years old. He is a white male who stands 5'9" tall and weighs 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Photographs of Mr. Armstrong are attached.
