Re: RV Fire

On Sunday, May 10, 2026, at approximately 1736 hours, Crook County Fire and Rescue was dispatched to the 1900 Block of NW Industrial Park Road, for a RV fire.  Fire crews were able to keep the fire from spreading beyond the RV to adjacent structures.  The was a single occupant staying in the RV, who was uninjured by the fire.  Unfortunately, the RV was a total loss.

Crook County Fire and Rescue was assisted on scene by Crook County Sheriff’s Office and the Prineville Police Department.

The cause of the fire was accidental, the likely result of a failure in a plug strip inside the RV.
