Description of occupancy:  Single Family House

Owner, occupant:  The residence was home to one adult female and five children.  Four children were home at the time of the fire, all escaped without injury.

Circumstances found on arrival; actions taken:  Arrived to a small two-story house with a fire on the exterior extending into the house on the first and second floors. Crews stretched multiple hose lines, knocking down the exterior fire, then made entry to extinguish the fire and perform a search.

Injuries, rescues, other information of interest:  No injuries or rescues. All occupants escaped the fire. Two pets were found deceased in the building.

Responding Apparatus:  2 Engines, 1 Medic, 1 Tender, 2 Command

Responding Personnel:  9

Mutual Aid assistance by:  Redmond Fire & Rescue provided a mutual aid ambulance to cover calls while crews were committed to the fire.  The family was connected with Red Cross for assistance.

Probable fire cause:  Cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
