Canby, OR – September 18, 2025 – The Clackamas County Fair and Canby Rodeo are proud to announce the selection of Jordyn Rose Quinn as the 2026 Fair and Rodeo Queen. At just 19 years old, Jordyn brings years of dedication to horsemanship, rodeo competition, and community service to her new role as an ambassador for one of Oregon’s most cherished traditions.

Jordyn has over nine years of riding experience and currently competes in barrel racing while training in breakaway roping with her 6-year-old Quarter Horse mare, Carrie. Together, they’ve grown into a strong and resilient team. Jordyn’s equestrian journey began humbly—cleaning stalls in exchange for lessons—eventually leading to Carrie being gifted to her in recognition of her dedication and hard work.

Reflecting on her journey, Jordyn shared:

“What makes my journey unique is that I didn’t grow up in a horse family. My love for horses began with lessons in Corbett, and through years of hard work, I’ve grown from a student to a trainer. Rodeo has taught me discipline, perseverance, leadership, and compassion.”

She also expressed her vision for the Court:

“As a Court member, I’ll champion the rodeo spirit—bold, resilient, and rooted in tradition. I’m eager to serve my community, build bridges between generations, and bring fresh energy and love for rodeo to the 2026 Court.”

Beyond the arena, Jordyn has given back by volunteering at youth horse camps, participating in 4-H, and preparing to pursue her studies in dental assisting at Clackamas Community College.

A Tradition of Excellence

The Clackamas County Fair, first held in 1907, has been a centerpiece of community life for over a century, celebrating agriculture, education, and family traditions. Complementing it, the Canby Rodeo, founded in 1958, has grown into one of Oregon’s premier rodeo events, known for its fast-paced action and family-friendly entertainment. Together, the Fair and Rodeo draw tens of thousands of visitors each August, highlighting the spirit of community and the heritage of the region.

As the 2026 Queen, Jordyn will represent both the Clackamas County Fair and Canby Rodeo at events throughout Oregon and beyond, sharing her passion for rodeo and community while carrying forward the legacy of this long-standing tradition.
