Fire Chief Scott Sorenson says that the audit has always been a priority for the fire district. "We are committed to managing resources responsibly," said Chief Sorenson. "Stewardship is the key, we make it a focus." The audit, completed in late 2017, is designed to ensure compliance and adequate safeguarding of public resources and includes a review of internal controls for the fire district. The audit process involved performing procedures to see how the fire district uses public resources and complies with state laws and regulations.
