Clackamas Community College students win 11 journalism awards in state competition (Photo) - 05/03/24

OREGON CITY - Student journalists at Clackamas Community College won 11 awards in the 2024 Oregon Collegiate Newspaper Contest. 

Among the awards were first place prizes for news story, feature photo and website. Students from The Clackamas Print, the student media organization at CCC, also won awards in the two-year school category for their feature writing, sports writing and house ad. 

The awards were presented by the Oregon Newspapers Foundation at the annual Collegiate Day held April 19 in Lebanon, Ore. Dozens of students from Oregon colleges and universities took part in the awards presentation.
