 Community Listening Sessions for CBC Strategic Plan
 

 

PASCO, Wash.Columbia Basin College is excited to invite community members to listening sessions as part of the development of their 2026-2029 Strategic Plan. Virtual Community Listening Sessions will be held Monday, December 8, and Tuesday, December 9 from 4 to 5 pm.

 

The strategic plan will guide the priorities of the college in academics, student success, community engagement, and workforce development. Attendees have the opportunity to share their ideas and perspectives for how CBC can best serve our community.

 

Session Details:

  • Monday, December 8, and Tuesday, December 9
  • 4:00 to 5:00 pm
  • Zoom Meeting
  • Open to all community members

 

“CBC is here to serve the ever-changing educational needs of our community and region. Through the input of our community’s voices, we will ensure our new strategic plan reflects the shared values and goals of the Tri-Cities,” says Dr. Rebekah S. Woods, President.

The Columbia Basin College Foundation was established in 1984 to give individuals, organizations and businesses the opportunity to invest in the college’s educational mission. Through the generosity of its donors, the Foundation awards student scholarships, provides academic and program support and helps fund capital projects and student support services like the CBC Cares Emergency Fund and CBC Food Pantry.

 

Columbia Basin College is a public community college serving the Tri-Cities and surrounding communities since 1955. CBC’s mission is to inspire, educate, and support all students in an environment of academic excellence leading to the completion of degrees, certifications, and educational transfers, while fostering meaningful employment, engaged citizenship, and a lifelong joy of learning. CBC offers both two-year and four-year degrees, as well as one-year Certificates. Bachelor of Applied Science degrees are offered in Applied Management, Applied Management in Agriculture or Healthcare Administration, Cyber Security, Dental Hygiene, Information Technology, Health Physics, Teacher Education and Project Management. CBC also offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Computer Science.
