Portland, Ore. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Bureau of Reclamation and Bonneville Power Administration invite the public to attend an environmental impact statement progress update on the development of the Columbia River System Operations EIS.

Project staff will provide an overview of preliminary draft focus alternatives, the next steps in the EIS development and opportunities for public engagement in 2018.

Staff will also be available to talk about the results of the CRSO EIS public scoping process and how information gathered during the public comment period is being used to develop a reasonable range of alternatives for long-term system operations, maintenance and CRSO configuration.

If you are unable to attend a session in person, join the presentation portion of this event by webinar/conference call. Details for this call will be posted at www.crso.info ahead of the event.

Background: The co-lead agencies are little more than one year into the five-year EIS process that began Sept. 30, 2016. The draft EIS is expected in 2020 and the final in 2021. Please visit the project website for more information: www.crso.info.
