Bethel Virtual Academy Opens To Students Outside District -01/28/21

We are thrilled to announce that the Bethel Virtual Academy is now accepting applications for the 2021/22 school year. Families do not need to live in the Bethel School District to attend.
 
The Bethel Virtual Academy opened as an option for K-12 students in Bethel during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a highly independent and self-paced online program, taught, and supported by Bethel School District’s certificated teachers.  Both the elementary and secondary programs allow students to flex the time they spend on school work, though there are limited required meetings to help students stay connected to, and successful in school.
 
Because it is a public school, enrollment is free. 
 
“BVA is a great option for many families,” said BVA Principal Sara Nollette. “We already have a handful of students who have joined us from other districts for a variety of reasons.”
 
Students will need a stable internet connection, and a computer or tablet capable of accessing the internet and streaming zoom to participate in our program.
