Sept. 20 is National Voter Registration Day (Photo) - 09/16/22

Sept. 20 is National Voter Registration Day and the Oregon Secretary of State, the Benton County Records and Elections Department, and many other groups in Oregon are helping register new voters and remind current voters to check and update their info, if necessary.

Registering to vote is easy at Oregonvotes.gov.

“Keeping our communities engaged in elections is a top priority and our hope is to provide every eligible community member with the opportunity to vote in this election,” said Benton County Records & Elections Director James Morales.

The Elections Office sets up, administers, and conducts, all Federal, State, County, City, and Special District elections held in Benton County. Benton County Elections is also responsible for voter registration, election filings, issuing of ballots, and the publication of Benton County Voters' Pamphlets.
