Incident: CERT serves search warrant, arrests suspect in drug case

Location: Hunnell Road & Loco Road, Bend

Arrested: Corey Louis Fernandez, 41-year-old Bend resident

Charges: Unlawful delivery of methamphetamine
Unlawful possession of methamphetamine – felony
Unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance – felony 

At approximately 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 22, the Central Oregon Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant and made an arrest at a trailer on the corner of Hunnell and Loco roads in Bend.

The search warrant and arrest were the result of an investigation by Bend Police detectives. In the trailer, detectives located commercial amounts of methamphetamine and blue pills believed to contain fentanyl. 

The owner of the trailer, Corey Louis Fernandez, was taken into custody without incident or injury and transported to the Deschutes County Jail.
