Theodore Settlemier II has been located and arrested - 01/26/20

On January 26, 2020 around 4:30 hours, Theodore  "Ted" Settlemier II made a call to the non-emergency dispatch line after he was notified that law enforcement was looking for him.  He was contacted and arrested without incident.  He was transported to the Deschutes County Jail on a new charge of contempt of court-violation of release agreement.

Suspect: Theodore Holland Settlemier II, 51-year-old male, Bend resident

 

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in Deschutes Riverwoods on January 25, 2020  around 11 p.m. when they were notified that a GPS monitor worn by Theodore “Ted” Settlemier II was tampered with or cut off.  The area was searched, but he was not located.

The Bend Police have an open criminal case against Ted Settlemier II as he is a subject under indictment for crimes involving domestic violence and sex crimes, pending trial.  If you are in contact with Ted Settlemeir II or know his whereabouts, please call law enforcement immediately.
