Suspect: Zacarias, Isac / 29 year old Bend resident 

Victim: 27 year old female Bend resident 

On October 14th, 2019 at approximately 1929 hours, Bend Police Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute and assault at 429 SE Roosevelt Avenue in Bend. While Officers were en route to the incident, the reported suspect, Isac Zacarias, fled the area. Officers on scene ultimately developed probable cause to arrest Zacarias for Assault in the Fourth Degree (Felony, ORS 163.160 (3)) and Strangulation (ORS 163.187). 

On October 20th, 2019 at approximately 1400 hours, Bend Police Officers learned that Zacarias had returned to the location of the assault. Numerous Bend Police Officers setup a perimeter and arrested Zacarias as he was leaving the residence. 

Zacarias was lodged at the Deschutes County Jail. No one was injured during the arrest of Zacarias and there is no safety threat to the community.
