Juvenile arrested after menacing with a BB gun (Photo) - 09/06/19

Date and time: Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.

On September 1, 2019 and Septemeber 2, 2019 Bend Police Officers learned of a threat made over social media by a juvenile male who is a  Bend resident.  This was stemming from an ongoing dispute between two groups.  The threat involved the juvenile male threatening a person or persons with a firearm.  Bend Police Officers continued to investigate the incident and prepared a search warrant for the suspect’s social media accounts and residence. 

On the morning of September 5, 2019 the juvenile male suspect was taken into custody.  Officers and detectives from the Bend Police Department executed the warrant at the juvenile’s residence and recovered the mentioned firearm, which was discovered to be a BB gun.  The juvenile male suspect was taken to the Deschutes County Juvenile Detention Center where he was lodged.

 

Charges: Menacing (x3), Disorderly Conduct II
