Arrest of Car Clout Suspect at Old Mill District - 03/08/18

Suspect Information:
Quinn A. Snider, 29 yr. old Redmond resident

Bend Police Officers responded to the 300 block of Scalehouse Court in Bend just before 2am on March 8, 2018 on a report of an in-progress car clout. The victim reported that the suspect was seen inside the driver seat of his vehicle, attempting to steal it. Upon calling 911, the suspect fled on foot.

Bend Police Officers arrived in the area to find two vehicles that were tampered with. Both vehicles had significant ignition column damage and one vehicle had numerous electronic items stolen.

While conducting an area check, Bend Police Officers observed the suspect running through nearby businesses. The suspect was located and taken into custody without incident. During the investigation, Officers were able to locate evidence linking the suspect to the theft. All items were recovered.

The Bend Police Department wants to remind the community to secure all vehicles and to report any suspicious behavior immediately.
