Date: Friday, June 9, 2017 Case # 2017-168587 Date & Time of Incident: June 5, 2017 Type of Incident: Missing Person Location of Incident: NE Providence area Missing Person Information: Chase Michael Hove 27 year old White Male Adult 5'11"/155 pounds red hair and hazel eyes City of Bend resident **UPDATED INFORMATION ON VEHICLE: Missing Person Vehicle: ****This vehicle has been found and is no longer of interest.**** 2014 Chevrolet Cruz White Oregon registration 121HED Updated Narrative on June 9 @ 8:30: The vehicle associated with Mr. Hove was located in the southeast part of Bend last night. We have not located Mr. Hove at this time. Our officers and detectives are still actively searching the area for him. We want to thank everyone in our community for their efforts in spreading the word in an attempt to locate Mr. Hove. Original Narrative: On June 6, 2017 officers with the Bend Police Department took a report of a missing adult male. Initial reports were the male, identified as Chase Hove, had left his residence off NE Providence with his vehicle. Hove has not contacted his family or friends since June 5th. There are concerns that Hove might be a danger to himself. We are asking the community for help in locating Hove and/or his vehicle. During this initial investigation, there has been some information that indicates Hove might have traveled to the southwest part of Deschutes County, specifically around Cascade Lakes Highway. The Deschutes County Sheriff's Office and the Sunriver Police Department spent several hours on June 7th looking for Hove and his vehicle in this area. We are asking the community members traveling in this area to pay special attention in trying to locate Hove and/or his vehicle. We have attached a flyer regarding Hove's case in hopes of locating him as soon as possible.
