Beaverton Police Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Shortly after 10:00 p.m. on September 13, 2026, Beaverton Police officers responded to a serious traffic crash involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle at the intersection of SW Scholls Ferry Road and SW Loon Drive in southwest Beaverton.
The crash involved a Kawasaki Z50 motorcycle and a Tesla. The motorcycle rider, a 34-year-old man from Dallas, Oregon, died at the scene. The driver of the Tesla remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
The Washington County Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team (CART) responded to the scene and is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
