Beaverton Police Seek Public’s Help In Assault Investigation (Photo)

The Beaverton Police Department is asking for the public’s help as detectives investigate a serious assault that occurred during the early morning hours of August 4, 2026.
At approximately 6:30 a.m., Beaverton Police officers located an adult male lying on the sidewalk near SW Lombard Avenue and SW Canyon Road. The victim had been badly beaten and sustained significant injuries to his head. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Based on video evidence collected during the investigation, detectives believe the victim (pictured) was assaulted sometime between approximately 1:50 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on August 4, 2026.
Investigators are working to identify the person or people responsible for the assault and are asking anyone who may have witnessed or heard anything suspicious during that time to contact police.
Investigators are seeking information from anyone who was in or around the Beaverton Transit Center, SW Canyon Road and SW Lombard Avenue, or the shopping center near Big 5 Sporting Goods during the early morning hours of August 4, 2026.
