Man Claiming to Be Construction Contractor Indicted for Theft After Defrauding Customers (Photo) - 10/29/24

Beaverton, Oregon – On June 6, 2024, a Washington County, Oregon grand jury indicted David Russell Rhinehart for two counts of Theft in the First Degree. Rhinehart is suspected of using his knowledge of construction and contracting work to defraud customers throughout the Portland metro area by taking money for labor and materials but failing to complete the work as promised. David Rhinehart is not licensed by the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. Investigators believe based on Rhinehart's crimes he may have more victims. 

The Beaverton Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating David Rhinehart. If you have information about Rhinehart’s location or knowledge of similar crimes, please contact Detective Patrick Antoine at 971-253-9071 or pantoine@beavertonoregon.gov.
