Beaverton Police Seek Public Assistance in Road Rage Shooting Investigation

Beaverton, OR - The Beaverton Police Department is actively seeking the public's assistance in identifying a male suspect involved in a road rage incident that occurred on Monday evening, January 22, 2024, around 7:16 PM. The incident happened near the intersection of SW Cedar Hills Blvd. and SW Walker Rd. in Beaverton.

A 29-year-old victim sustained a gunshot wound from the suspect driver of a white GMC truck during the altercation. The suspect is described as a white, male, adult, 60-70 years old, with grey facial hair. He was reportedly wearing an orange and yellow ballcap at the time of the incident.

The suspect vehicle is identified as a newer white GMC Sierra quad cab, lacking a visible license plate. There may be a temporary tag in the rear window on the driver's side. Notably the truck is missing side passenger rear-view mirror. The mirror housing should be intact, but the mirror itself is absent.

This is an open and active investigation. Detective Maggie Brown is the lead investigator and urges anyone with information related to this incident to contact her directly at 503-526-2538 or via email at MadalynBrown@BeavertonOregon.gov.
