Beaverton, OR – 34-year-old Alvin Ashneel Prasad of Portland, Oregon, has been indicted for one count of Sex Abuse in the 2nd degree and Sex Abuse in the 3rd degree. The indictment follows an investigation into allegations of inappropriate behavior during a medical examination conducted by Prasad, a physician's assistant employed by a Beaverton area medical provider.

On Friday, August 4, 2023, a Washington County Grand Jury handed down the indictment after reviewing evidence and testimony. The charges stem from an incident involving a 19-year-old female patient who reported inappropriate and unnecessary actions during a medical procedure performed by Prasad in the month of July.

Based on the nature of Prasad's actions, Beaverton Police Detectives believe it is likely Prasad has more victims. If you or someone you know has had an inappropriate interaction with Prasad, please contact the Beaverton Police Department via Washington County Dispatch by calling 503-526-2281.
