News Release

Beaverton Police Investigating Homicide - 05/07/22

On May 6th, 2022, at approximately 8:40 pm, Beaverton Police Officers were dispatched to a report of an assault with a weapon on SW Macorey Court in Beaverton. Upon arrival, officers found 37-year-old Levi Benjamin Pierce with a gunshot wound. Mr. Pierce was administered life-saving measures and transported to a local hospital. Later, Mr. Pierce died due to his injuries. 

The on-going investigation led to the arrest of Mr. Pierce’s roommate, 34-year-old Austin Bryan Sutton. Mr. Sutton has been charged with Murder and Unlawful Use of a Weapon and is currently at the Washington County Jail.
