On June 14, 2019, Beaverton Police officers arrested 32-year-old Candido Felix Jr., a resident of Gresham, and 26-year-old Ann Pena, a resident of Forest Grove, after locating them in a stolen vehicle.
BPD officers, performing self-initiated activity, noticed Mr. Felix driving a black 2014 Toyota Camry near SW Lombard/SW Canyon. The vehicle had been stolen from Portland on June 6th. Officers stopped the vehicle and took both occupants into custody near SW Canyon/Hwy 217.
A search of the vehicle located black tar heroin and burglary tools. Mr. Felix was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Unlawful Use of a Stolen Vehicle. Ms. Pena was charged with Unlawful Use of a Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Heroin (felony), and a misdemeanor warrant out of Multnomah County for Possession of Heroin.
Mr. Felix and Ms. Pena were taken to Washington County jail. As we continue to keep Beaverton a safe city, BPD asks community members to report all suspicious activity by calling non-emergency dispatch at 503-629-0111.
