On May 3, 2018, Beaverton Police Department, in connection with Portland’s FBI Child Exploitation Task Force, arrested six people for sex crimes related to minors.
Officers and Detectives contacted the males via online applications. The males expressed their desires to meet with minors for sexual acts.
19-Year-old David Andrade-Arroyo was charged with Online Sexual Corruption of a Child in the first degree and Luring a Minor.
22-Year-old Justin Metschan-Baertlein was charged with Online Sexual Corruption of a Child in the first degree and Luring a Minor.
25-Year-old Eden Gutierrez-Contreras was charged with Online Sexual Corruption of a Child in the first degree and Luring a Minor.
34-Year-old Brian Curtis Rudd was charged with Online Sexual Corruption of a Child in the first degree and Luring a Minor.
44-Year-old Thembi Kareem Reeves was charged with Online Sexual Corruption of a Child in the first degree, Luring a Minor, and Felony Failure to Report as a Sex Offender.
51-Year-old Terry Lennis Hall was charged with Online Sexual Corruption of a Child in the first degree and Luring a Minor.
Portland’s FBI Child Exploitation Task Force (CETF) is a law-enforcement partnership that is dedicated to identifying and arresting child predators, recovering minor victims of sex trafficking and on-line exploitation, and addressing sexual exploitation. The CETF consists of FBI agents, detectives, and officers from Portland-area agencies that have a firm commitment in addressing child exploitation. The member agencies are Beaverton Police Department, Portland Police Bureau, Tigard Police Department, Hillsboro Police Department, and the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.
An arrest is only an accusation of a crime, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. All arrestees were lodged at Washington County Jail.
