On 02/19/2018 our dayshift officers cleared eight warrants through five arrests and arrested a male displaying a replica handgun.

At 10:06 AM officers stopped a vehicle near SW Hall Blvd/SW Scholls Ferry Rd which contained two wanted subjects. 31- year-old Tyler Church and 18-year-old Anthony Gilroy were taken into custody. Church had two misdemeanor warrants and a felony warrant for his arrest. Church was also charged with possession of methamphetamine and aggravated identity theft. Gilroy had a felony warrant for his arrest and was also charged with identity theft.

At 10:56 AM officers responded to a suspicious person near SW Cedar Hills Blvd/SW Gem Lane. Officers located the suspicious person, 27-year-old Keean Woods. Woods had a felony warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody.

At 11:39 AM officers responded to the area of SW Electric St/SW Hocken Ave on a tip regarding two wanted persons. Officers found 37-year-old Stephen Newman and 38-year-old Bethany Newman. Stephen had two felony warrants and Bethany had one felony warrant out of California. Stephen and Bethany were taken into custody.

At 11:54 AM officers responded to the area of SW Lombard Ave/SW Canyon Rd on a suspicious person who was talking about harming people. As officers approached the male, 61-year-old David Lydick, they noticed he had a gun in his hands. Lydick complied and was detained for further investigation. Witnesses stated they overheard Lydick making threats of violence. Lydick was taken into custody and charged with drinking in public and disorderly conduct in the second degree. The gun turned out to be a replica firearm that propels BB's.

All of the above arrested persons were lodged at Washington County Jail.
