The subject who was arrested for prohibited possession of a weapon and firing a weapon is Daryl Wayne Williams. We still do not know what he was shooting at or why. We have not identified any victim so that is a good thing.
I do not expect there will be any other updates on this.
On 11/29/2017 at approximately 4:05 AM citizens reported hearing gun shots in the area of SW Canyon Rd/ SW Lombard Ave Beaverton, Oregon.
Beaverton Police Officers arrived in the area to find an adult male trying to elude them on foot. The male was located, detained and in possession of a loaded firearm magazine. A firearm and shell casings were located nearby.
Officers were unable to locate a victim of the shooting. Beaverton Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying any victims related to this shooting. If anyone has information they are urged to call Beaverton Police at 503-629-0111.
