Depave project transformed an old parking lot into a vibrant green playspace for Hillsboro youth

What: Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland Metropolitan Area and Depave are excited to invite you to the Grand Opening of the Inukai Family Club Green Playspace. This space will provide youth in the Hillsboro community with a safe, art-filled place to connect with nature, practice mindfulness, and play outside. The Depave project has involved hundreds of volunteers from the Hillsboro Community and beyond.

Community members are invited to join us at the Inukai Family Club for fun, family-friendly activities, including a BBQ dinner, before the ribbon cutting ceremony that will officially open the space to our Club and the public. Our Grand Opening rounds off a week of nation-wide events recognizing the work of Boys & Girls Clubs. Supporters are encouraged to show their support for this work on social media by using the #BGCweek and participating in our local Day of Giving
