CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Benton County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) is sponsoring its 15th annual Back to School Supply Drive now through August 29th. The community is invited to take part in this annual event.
If you're interested in donating to the supply drive, backpacks have historically been a large need for students of low-income families returning to school. Monetary donations will also be accepted. Just $30 can provide one student with supplies for an entire year.

Supplies gathered will be divided and distributed between five rural schools including Alsea Elementary, Blodgett Elementary, Kings Valley Charter School, Monroe Elementary, and Muddy Creek Charter School, immediately following the event.
"We are grateful for the opportunity to work with the community in supporting our students as they prepare to return to school. This fundraiser is crucial and presents a chance to make a meaningful difference in a child's life," said Sheriff Van Arsdall." We encourage you to assist your Sheriff’s Office in making a contribution for our youngest residents."
