Arrest Made In Highway 20 Fatal Crash Near Circle Blvd (Photo) - 01/05/23

CORVALLIS, Ore. – On Wednesday, January 4, 2023, Benton County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) Deputies arrested 24-year-old Serrano Patrick as a result of the investigation into a fatal crash that occurred on December 18, 2022, near milepost one on Highway 20. 

At the time of the crash, Andrea Thornberry, 47, of Corvallis was pronounced deceased as a result of injuries sustained during the incident.

During the course of the investigation, it became apparent probable cause to arrest Patrick existed. 

Patrick was taken into custody and lodged in the Benton County Jail under charges of Manslaughter in the Second Degree, Driving under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII), and Reckless Driving. 

BCSO would like to remind all drivers of the dangers of driving under the influence. If you choose to use intoxicants, don’t drive. Stay where you are or plan a sober ride home.
