On Friday, December 30, 2022 at about 10:00 p.m., Benton County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) investigators arrested 57- year-old Tina Gonzales-Ross as a result of the ongoing shooting investigation on Porter Road in Blodgett, Oregon.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined probable cause existed to arrest Gonzales-Ross for crimes against a 62-year-old male, of the same residence.

The victim was transported to a local hospital; he later underwent surgery to treat his wounds.

Investigators developed probable cause to arrest Gonzales-Ross for Assault in the First Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Attempted Murder. Gonzales-Ross was taken into custody and lodged at the Benton County Jail Friday night.

This investigation remains open and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Benton County Sheriff’s Office tip line at 541-753-8477 or email BentonCoSheriff@co.benton.or.us.
