Sex Offender Release (Photo) - 04/12/18

Corvallis, Ore. – The Benton County Sheriff's Office is notifying the public that a sex offender has been released into the community.

Jacob Anderson, 28, is listed as a Level III sex offender and is on post-prison supervision until January 11, 2022 for Rape Second Degree, Sex Abuse First Degree, and Delivery of Marijuana to a Minor.

Anderson is a white male, 6’3” tall, 180 pounds in weight, has brown hair, and brown eyes.

He will be living at the Benton County Transition Center at 180 NW 5th Street, Corvallis, OR  97330. He will not be allowed to attend church, go to the library, or any other places children may congregate. He will also be restricted from using the public bus and going to the bus stop/station.

Special conditions for Anderson’s release include no contact with minors; GPS monitoring; restriction from places where minors congregate (parks, playgrounds, schools, libraries, and bus stop/station); no direct or indirect contact with his victims; no use or possession of alcohol; he must register as a sex offender; and he has an 8:00pm curfew.

In the past Anderson targeted minor females known and unknown to him and the normal age range is adolescents.  He has admitted he is sexually attracted to teenagers and has a sex addiction. He has also stated he doesn’t feel he is ready to be released from prison.
