PORTLAND, Ore. (November 20, 2017) -- UnitedHealthcare will serve as presenting sponsor of the 20th annual Rip City Race for the Roses, benefiting Albertina Kerr. In addition to its new presenting sponsor, the popular Portland race is introducing a new experience in 2018 thanks to the community-based partnership between Albertina Kerr and the Rose Quarter. The event is scheduled for April 29, 2018, and includes a half-marathon, 10K, 5K and new 1K kid-family run, all beginning at the Rose Quarter.

Online registration for runners and walkers is open at www.RipCityRaceForTheRoses.org. Each participant will receive an official race T-shirt and medal for finishing the race. People who register before Dec. 22, 2017, will receive a ticket to an upcoming Trail Blazers home game.
